joshua’s House

More details and pics from the fundraiser yesterday 3/28 at a the Cove Resort and Pub in Inverness.  Both Joshua’s House and Citrus Animal Services were there.  Esther did a great job organizing the Joshua’s House part of the fundraiser. A special thanks to you!  Thanks to Esther, Jenifer, Faith, Gary, and Joanne for helping to cover the booth.   Thank you attendees for your generous donations. 

There was some very creative fundraising ideas there and I wanted to mention one.   Joanne was so nice to not only bring gift cards to auction. Her friend, Rich creates sports team related drink dispensers and he was nice enough to donate his item. He also creates wine racks, engraved glasses, charcuterie boards and more.  The idea was to go inside the restaurant and raffle off the item at $5 a ticket. We raised a healthy amount for that raffle.

Then, the winners of the item, Tim and Sandy, wanted to take it a step further and then auctioned off the item which brought in additional funds .  Great idea and thank you Tim and Sandy. Thank you also James for winning the auction. Just a little fundraising story I thought I’d post.
